In the late 1990s starts the history with the Insight of Honda's Hybrid, wich beat the Toyota Prius to the U.S. market by a few months and was originaly rated at 70 mpg by the EPA. The Insight will arrive in summer 2018 as a dedicated hybrid model powered by Honda's two-motor gasoline-electric drivetrain. Honda is not sharing too much details about the Insight but it seems to take the place of Civic hybrid.
The Honda Insight Prototype will make its world debut at the 2018 North America International Auto Show in Detorit on January 15, 2018 as the predcessor to the all-new 2019 Honda Insight.
The 2019 Insight has a pretty conservative design, it looks more just like another Honda sedan wich is good for hybrid buyers who want to circument the radar.The third generation of Honda's hybrid, the Insight will be built in the U.S., not in Japan like the last two generation, wich gives advice to Honda to take advantage of better economies.
